Lets draw a picture of a christmas pudding!
You can email it to someone special using ArtBug!
You will need:
1. a piece of white paper
2. pencils - brown, red, light green, dark green and blue.
3. a normal pencil.
4. an eraser.
5. Something round to help you draw a circle, you could ask a grown up to help you find something to use.
Using the normal grey pencil, draw around your object to get a circle.
-
Now draw the cream on your Christmas Pudding like this.
-
Draw a cherry on top and two blobs that will help you to draw the Holly leaves.
-
1. Use the green pencil to draw spiky Holly leaves like I did below.
2. Use the red pencil to go over the out-line of the cherry and make a triangle for a white patch.
3. Go around your pudding with brown pencil, remember to do lots of little short lines.
You don't have to do it all in one go!
4. Now draw the outside edge of the cream in blue (this will be the color behind the pudding/dessert).
-
1. Erase the pencil lines.
2. Go over any colored pencil lines that were made too faint.
3. Shade around the Christmas Pudding with blue.
-
1. Shade in the Holly leaves with dark green.
2. Shade in the cherry with red.
3. Shade in the pudding/dessert with brown.
-
1. Scan your picture into ArtBug Mail.
2. Choose the name of someone special, maybe someone who likes to eat Christmas Pudding desserts!
3. Click send!
Your picture is now in your own art gallery too!
-
Yummy! Lots of lovely fruit in there and cream on the top. Doesn't the cherry look tasty!
