Lets make a picture of the letter h!
You can email it to someone special using ArtBug!
You will need:
1. a piece of thick card, I used a cereal box.
2. black marker pen, crayon or pencil.
3. scissors and a grown up to do the cutting.
4. brown paint, a glue stick and a cotton puff.
5. You may like to have a sheet of tissue paper for the scanning part at the end.
None of the letters are stuck to the tissue paper behind them,
it's just there for decoration!
Draw the letters "H" and "h" like this.
-
Ask a grown up to cut you letter h's out for you.
-
1. Paint and decorate your letters then leave them to dry.
I made my letter's hairy by using a glue stick and cotton puff.
2. Scan your letter "H" and letter "h" into ArtBug Mail.
3. Choose the name of someone special you want show how clever you are at learning your alphabet!
4. Click send!
Your "h" for happy horse has hurried off your own art gallery too! Well done!
Remember, h's name is said "haych" but it's sound is h as in hungry horse or hovering helicopter.
-
What begins with "h"? Horrible, hairy hands! Handsome, happy horse! Hovering helicopter!
