ArtBug Mail

Lets draw a picture of a space rocket!
You can email it to someone special using ArtBug!

You will need:
1. a piece of white paper
2. pencils - red, orange and two shades of blue.
3. a normal pencil.
4. an eraser.
5. Either a glue stick, safety scissors and black paper OR a black pencil.

Using the normal grey pencil, draw a long arched shape for the rocket.

Now draw a curve at the bottom for the rocket.

Draw fins at the side, a door and some small round windows on the rocket.

Draw some flames around the base of the rocket.
Draw a moon and start the stars like this.

Draw a middle to the flames and a bit more of the stars like this.

Finish the stars like this.

1. You can either color with black around your rocket or
use safety scissors to cut out the rocket and stars, then stick them on black paper.
2. Scan your picture into ArtBug Mail.
3. Choose the name of someone special, maybe someone who'd like to visit the moon with you!
4. Click send!

Your picture is now in your own art gallery too!

5...4...3...2...1...BLAST OFF! Let's go on a trip around the solar system!
