ArtBug Mail

Lets draw a picture of a seahorse!
You can email it to someone special using ArtBug!

You will need:
1. a piece of white paper
2. pencils - whatever colors you wish to use for your seahorse.
3. a normal pencil, but a softer 2B or 4B is better.
4. an eraser

These first markings are guide-lines you will erase later, draw them lightly.
I have drawn them darkly to help you see them better.

1. Lightly draw a blob for your seahorse's body and a circle for the head.
2. Lightly draw a curly tail and a snout like this.

Draw a head fin and a side fin for your seahorse.

Draw the outline for your seahorse more darkly.
Make the fins and body have points like I have.
Draw an eye for your seahorse.

Erase your guide-lines.
Draw a mouth for your seahorse.
If you want to, write a title and a message on your picture.

1. Color in your seahorse picture.
2. Scan your picture into ArtBug Mail.
3. Choose the name of someone special you want to make smile with your swimming seahorse!
4. Click send!

Your picture swam off to your own art gallery too! Well done!
