Lets draw a picture of an astronaut!
You can email it to someone special using ArtBug!
You will need:
1. a piece of white paper and a piece of black paper.
2. pencils - black, blue, red, green and yellow.
3. a normal pencil, but a softer 2B or 4B is better.
4. an eraser and a glue stick.
These first markings are guide-lines you will erase later, draw them lightly.
Draw a blob for your astronaut's body and the head as a circle on top like this.

Draw the tops of your astronauts arms and legs and the visor of the helmet.

Draw the rest of your astronaut's arms and legs with feet and hands like this.

Draw around the outer edge of your astronaut's bosy and erase the guide-lines.
Draw a back pack for your astronaut's air tanks.

Draw more detail on your astronaut like this.

1. Color in your astronaut picture.
2. Use safetly scissors to cut your astronaut out, then glue it to black paper.
3. Scan your picture into ArtBug Mail and add stars using the star shape, white and the felt-tip.
4. Choose the name of someone special you want to make happy with this amazing astronaut!
5. Click send!
Your picture has now floated silently off to your own art gallery too! Well done!
